US Kids Golf , or USKG , is the world's leading youth golf organization; dedicated to helping young players enjoy golf through better equipment, well-organized tournament games, and new learning and resource trainings through their Coaches Institute. Founded by Dan Van Horn in 1996, the company has an LLC division (equipment) and a Foundation (tournament and Coaches Institute). Among its divisions, US Kids Golf has impacted more than one million young players worldwide.
The USKG Junior World Junior Championship has been featured in a documentary by Josh Greenbaum, titled The Short Game. The Short Game features talented 7 and 8 year olds from around the world, and their adventures in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The leading players featured in the film include 4-time champion Allan Kournikova and 5-time champion Alexa Pano.
