Peteline Equine's horse insurance policy offers coverage for veterinary fees, loss of horses by theft or misdeeds, deaths from injury or illness, liability of third parties, accidental cover, loss of use and theft or damage to saddles and nails and lids for trailers. Horses are insured for illness covered up to 25 years, there is also a veteran insurance policy for horses and horses over the age of 20 years. Equine's Petplan Rider includes people who ride but do not have or permanently borrow a horse. The cover is available for adults and children, between 5 and 75 years old, and includes personal accidents, third party liability, emergency veterinary and equestrian expenses.

Charity work
In 1994, the Petplan Charitable Trust was formed. Charities raise funds to promote animal health and wellbeing. Petplan Equine supports Trusts by collecting donations from policyholders.
