Woodward Park is a 45 acre (18 acres) public park, botanical garden and arboretum between 21st Street and 24th Street east of South Peoria Avenue and west of South Rockford Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the United States Midwestern. Originally, the park, named after Helen Woodward, the original property owner, was established in 1929, after a long court of ownership.

The park is designed to provide a visitor experience with a range of horticultural subjects. It contains a number of specialty gardens, including those featuring spring flowers, tropical plants and cactus, Tulsa Rose Garden, Tulsa Garden Center, and Tulsa Arboretum. Tulsa Rose Garden

The Tulsa Municipal Rose Garden began in 1935 as the Works Progress Administration (WPA) project. It was designed to have five terraces, built on a hillside with manpower and manual horses. Jewel Huffman, a Tulsa resident, and Anne Hathaway Herb Garden Club are credited with starting an official herb garden at Woodward Park during 1939. Both parks and clubs are named for Anne Hathaway, wife of British playwright William Shakespeare. According to Tulsa Garden Center, Hathaway "... famous for his love of gardening and herbal cultivation...".

Tulsa Garden Center (David R. Travis Mansion)

The former home of David R. Travis is now home to the Tulsa Park Center. The mansion was built in 1919, just south of Tulsa Rose Garden in Peoria. The 21-room house sits on a 13-acre (5.3Ã, ha) lot immediately south of Woodward Park. J. Arthur Hull bought the property in 1923 and added a conservatory and a garden.
