Supervision (foaled 1906 in Calvados Lower Normandy) is a French Thoroughbred horse race horse. Raised by the American athlete William Kissam Vanderbilt at his study farm Haras du Quesnay, he got out of the horse, First Sight, the daughter of the English Triple Crown champion in 1893, Isinglass. His father was Halma, winner of the Kentucky Derby of 1895 that Vanderbilt bought in 1901 in the United States from Charles Fleischmann Sons.
Racing from the age of two to four, Oversight won important French competitions such as Prix du President de la Republique and Prix Jean Prat before retiring to study where he did not succeed as a father.
