The Racking Horse World Celebration is the biggest show for the Horse Racking race. It is held annually at the end of September at the Celebration Arena in Priceville, Alabama, a few miles outside Decatur. The celebrations include more than a week of night shows, and include about 170 classes. More than 1,000 horses compete there every year, and an audience attendance of about 70,000. The World Celebration colleague is a Spring Celebration, held in April at the same location.

History
The celebration began in 1972, shortly after the formation of the American Horse Collector Association (RHBAA). Although most organizers came from Birmingham, it was decided to hold a show at Priceville, which is in Morgan County, northern Alabama, because the horse center there was the best in the state at the time. The first celebration lasts one day and includes 23 classes. A total of 257 horses are shown. Many exhibitors and horses come from the Muscle Shoals area. The competition is patterned after a larger and to some extent, the more well known National Horse Walking Tennessee Feast, with the Grand World Championships as the greatest honor. The Grand Grand Champion The first Racking Horse was Go Boy's Road Runner in 1972. The coach with the World's Most Major Championships was Kenny Ailshie, who won six honors; in 1987 on Stock Oil, 1991 and 1992 on the Delight Stock Oil, 1998 on The Finalizer, 2002 on Unreal, and 2006 on Scores in the first half. The first female rider to win the World Grand Championship was Barbara Agnich who was riding the horse Tragedy in 2005. Alternately, Agnich competes with her boyfriend, Rick Parish, to win. In 1986, Racking Horse World and Spring Celebrations were named by Southeast Tourism Society as one of the top 20 attractions in the Southeastern United States.

Class
The celebrations last for 9 days and nights and include over 170 classes to accommodate various disciplines, including saddle chairs, walkways, English speaking pleasures, horse riding, driving, speed classes, and even horseback riding for children. All submitted horses must be registered with RHBAA, and coaches, owners and horsemen must also be members of the Association. All horses entered should have a negative Coggins test and are currently vaccinated against the horse herpes virus. Dual World Championships and one World Great Championship were awarded during the festivities. One special class, called "Racking for the Roses" is designed to show the ability of a horse that may not enter the Grand World Championship. Drivers in the classroom should be professional trainers who have been practicing for at least 5 years and have never won a World Championship. The World Grand Championship is the most significant and last class at the Celebration, which is held on the last Saturday night of the event. It has a cash prize of $ 3,000 and a set of silver tea for the first place. In addition to regular competition, the event includes horse sales, coach association meetings, and youth activities.
The celebration has an average attendance of about 70,000 people annually. It includes about 1,000 horses from 25 US states.
Spring Celebration
The Spring Celebration, formerly known as Spring Warm-Up is held in mid to late April and starts the season of horse racking per year. It's very similar in style and level of competition to the World Show, but only lasts for four days. This is the second largest Racking Horse horse show in the United States.
