MS Allure of the Seas is an Oasis class Oasis cruiser owned and operated by Royal Caribbean International. By 2018 Oasis class is the largest passenger vessel ever operating, and Attraction is 50 millimeters (2.0 inches) longer than its sister ship Oceans Oasis, although both are built to the same specifications. Designed under the name of "Genesis Project," he was ordered from Aker Finnyards in February 2006 and his construction began at Perno shipyard in Turku, Finland, in February 2008. He was named in May 2008 after a contest was held to name him and his sister. The Allure of the Seas bell was laid on December 2, 2008, shortly after the shipyard was acquired by STX Europe.
After launching in November 2009, it became the largest passenger ship in the world, taking the place of Oasis of the Seas. He lost his light by his sister ship, Harmony of the Seas , after launching in June 2015. Harmony has an overall length of 362.12 meters (1,188.1Ã, ft).

History
The Allure of the Seas bell was put on December 2, 2008 at the STX Europe shipyard in Turku, Finland, during a ceremony involving representatives of Royal Caribbean and STX. He was launched on November 20, 2009, and the fixture continues through his departure from the yard. He left the Turku shipyard on October 29, 2010 at 05:45 UTC, heading straight for his port of Port Everglades, near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. The ship is equipped with a telescoping channel for passing a bridge like the StorebÃÆ'Ã|t Bridge, which he passed on October 30, 2010. While the media have reported that there is only 30 cm (12 in) clearance, the truth is that at mean water level is closer to 2- 3 meters (6.6-9.8 ft) and the much advertised squat effect, in which ships traveling at speed in shallow drains will be drawn deeper into the water, have no significant effect on the concept of the vessel.
On November 11, 2010 at about 14:30 UTC, the Allure of the Seas arrived at the harbor of his home in Port Everglades, Florida. He was greeted by thousands of spectators waiting on the beach.
The ship was officially named by godmother, Princess Fiona's fictional figure, in a ceremony on November 28, 2010.
In February 2014, the Allure of the Seas entered the dry dock on Grand Bahama Island for seven days to replace a damaged gearbox in one of its Azipods. Since the dry dock facility is not large enough to fully accommodate Oasis class vessels, a unique solution must be designed to allow for replacement, known as "Project Atlantis". During their time on the dry pier, the crew uses time to stop making many improvements and renovations to guest facilities, including the installation of new carpets.
Allure of the Seas sails year-round in the Caribbean region from Port Everglades from its origin in 2010 to 2014. He converts the harbor to Barcelona and sails to the Mediterranean between May and October 2015, becoming the largest voyage of ships and class ships Oasis first to spend a full season in the region. After that, he returned to Port Everglades.
Allure of the Seas will change its original port in November 2018 to Port of Miami, where Royal Caribbean will build a new shipping terminal. He will join the fourth-grade Oceans, MSÃ, Symphony of the Seas , and both will sail year-round from the harbor which offers seven nights in the Western Caribbean and East cruise ships.

Technical details
While the design length of Allure of the Seas is equal to his brother, 360 meters (1.181Ã, ft), he is actually 362 meters (1.187Ã, ft) in length and about 50 millimeters (2 in) longer than Oasis of the Seas . According to the shipyard, this is unintentional and a small difference in length can occur only because the steel temperature on the ship is this big. The gross tonnage of Allure of the Seas is 225,282 and the displacement is equal to Oasis of the Seas , which is estimated to be around 100,000 metric tons, slightly less than the Nimitz-class US aircraft carrier . The steel hull alone weighs about 54,000 tons.
It has a two-deck ballroom, a 1,380-seat theater, an ice skating rink, 7 different "environments" and 25 dining options, including a Starbucks coffee shop at sea. Many of the interior ships are heavily decorated by Clarissa Parish murals.
Prior to starting the services of Port Everglades, Allure of the Seas is equipped with an 80 kW solar array by BAM Energy Group that empowers the shopping district. System cost US $ 600.000 and covers an area of ââ2,000m 2 (21,530 sqÃ, ft). Uses BIPV Uni-Solar laminates designed to withstand pedestrian traffic and sea conditions.
